Property running into millions of Naira was destroyed in Oluku in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State when a late-night fire razed a stretch of shops in the community.

Though the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, it was learned that residents woke up to the ravaging fire.

Efforts to put out the fire by residents were unsuccessful as it continued to burn consuming their property in the process.
