In the mid hours of today, a suspected members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN) simply named Chinonso was paraded alongside others by the Anambra state Police Command where he narrated how he became a member of the proscribed group.

The suspect said, “I was a mechanic in the past but later started driving motorcycle. After some time, I met a commander of the Eastern Security Network who gave me police uniform and armed me (with guns).” He added, “after disguising as an officer, we snatched a car and kidnapped the professor who owns the car.”

Confessing further, the suspect said, “it was the commander that instructed me to dress as a police officer. The Eastern Security Network camp I stay is located at a place in Abia state. We only came to operate in Anambra.”
